Coronavirus Disease 2019, COVID -19 - Update
Considering the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) epidemic Dona Ana MDWCA is taking the necessary precautions to maintain the health of not only you our customers as well as our employees. Effective immediately we will be temporarily closing its lobby. At this time, we are still operating as normal we are just reducing our person to person contact. We would like to encourage our members and the community who do business with to utilize electronic communications as much as possible.
Please be aware that this temporary change does not change office protocols. Past due balances will still be due no later that 20th before 3:00 p.m. in order to avoid additional fees.
Current bills will be due before 3:00 p.m. on the 25th to avoid the 10% penalty.
During our lobby closure please be aware our office hours will remain the same Monday – Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be closed for lunch from 11:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m...
Payments can be made in the following methods:
Drive-Thru: All Payment Methods will be accepted.
Drop Boxes: Payments can be made with check or money order:
- 5535 Ledesma Dr. Las Cruces, NM 88007 – This box will be checked several times a day to ensure payments are posted in a timely manner.
- 12695 Leasburg State Park Rd., Las Cruces, NM 88007 – This will be checked once a week – As long as the building remains open to the public.
- 6861 Via Campestre, Las Cruces, NM 88007- This will be checked once a week – As long as the building remains open to the public.
On-Line: www.dawater.org: Payments can be made 24 hours a day. You will be required to have either registered the account or by quick pay. This could be done with either a credit/debit card or e-check. Please be aware that there will be a surcharge of $1.25 per transaction.
We are also happy to announce that our IVR system is now in place! Payments can be made over the phone by calling our office at 575-526-3491 option 1, this feature is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The system will require you to have your account number and the numerical number of the address you would like to pay. Payments can be made with a credit/debit card.
In order to help maintain our efforts we ask that if you need to begin services please take the following steps to ensure that we all have the necessary information to begin your service.
If you have purchased your home Dona Ana MDWCA will require that you complete the Owner Application Packet. This packet consists of the Service Application and a User’s Agreement Form and will also require copies of either a warranty deed or settlement statement as well as a total fee of $141.75 consisting of a membership fee, application fee and activation fee.
If you are a Renter/Tenant, you will be required to complete the Renter/Tenant Packet. This packet will consist of a Service Application and will also require a copy of the rental agreement. In addition, there will also be a fee of $163.00, which consists of a $100.00 refundable renter’s deposit, application fee and activation fee.
If completing the application please fill in the top portion of the application with you name, service address, mailing address and emergency contact and sign below the email address. If you are the owner you will also need to sign the back of the application and complete the Users Agreement form, print your name service address and signature in the back.
If you wish to close your account due to selling of the home or no longer renting, please complete the Termination of Service Form by completing the top portion of the form with your name service address date you want the services terminated, forwarding address and signature below the financial information.
Current packages can be found in folders on the front of our door as well as on our website at https://dawater.org/customer-forms.
Once all forms are complete please stop by the drive-up window and submit your forms or drop them off in our drop box located next to the entrance door at 5535 Ledesma Drive. The forms can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
